When you realise you're not living your own life...
Have you ever had the feeling that you are doing things... but something is missing?
Your life is working. You have your daily routine. You move forward.
But in the meantime there is a quiet but persistent feeling:
„We need more than that.”
It is not necessarily a spectacular collapse.
Rather, a quiet apathy.
Rush
Compliance
exhaustion
stress
lack of time
And sometimes it's even hard to smile.
The point when you can no longer suppress it
As a mother of four and an entrepreneur, my life is not „Instagram-compatible” either.
The mornings? Chaos.
200 metres to the nursery? At least half an hour.
The logistics? A separate science.
And yet there is a moment in every day.
When I step out the door of the nursery...
I raise my head...
and just feel the sun on my face.
A few seconds of freedom.
And I always think of:
why doesn't everyone do it?
The breaking point we have been putting off for so long
I didn't change overnight either.
In fact.
Just like many others:
I tried
search
I took detours
Wedding decoration, flower arranging, sewing...
I loved them - but they gave me no freedom.
And that was the key.
It was not that I was working too much.
It's that I wasn't living my own life.
Then came the point when:
I went to work crying
I was anxious at home
and I knew exactly: this can't go on
The hardest step: deciding
The strategy was not the most difficult.
Not the tools.
Not the options.
It's this:
step out of your comfort zone.
I was afraid:
what others will say
what happens if it fails
what if I fail
But in the meantime there was another voice:
„What if it works?”
And then it was now or never.
And off I went.
The realisation that rewrote everything:
I've discovered something that seems simple at first, but actually changes everything:
Your life is not determined by what happens to you...
it's the choices you make every day.
Who you surround yourself with
What you give your body
What you let into your thoughts
What job do you choose
This was not a „big breakthrough”.
It's a lot of small decisions.
But these decisions started to lead me towards a completely different life.
In the next part, I'll show you what it really means to „live vibrantly” and how you can start doing it - in your own life, at your own pace.
With love,
Rita
